Deako, sorry for slow response - my diffuser was in the loft... just been up there so here's a pic of the parts number on the back, hope it helps:
victor was needy this week cos he got picked on...
drove it to work for a couple of days, parked outside the canteen so i could guard him at lunch, came home, found a dent in the roof rail (which i suspect was from a ladder on the back of a van in the petrol station). didn't worry too much but the more i saw it the more it wound me up. got a mobile paint-free dent repairer out the next day who not only pulled the rail dent out but another he found, too. hero of the day? jake, from f1: http://www.f1dents.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; he used just a glue stick, some sand paper, a small hammer and a lot of experience. highly recommended if you live in herts - i can't even see where the dings used to be now. chuffed...
main middle pic is after the first 'pull'...

after 5 days of driving a blumotion golf tdi courtesy car (or bouncy castle as i call it) i picked victor up from his big service, m.o.t and new cup spoiler. loved it straight away (unlike the diffuser!) - kept staring at it in the side mirrors on the way home!
the aftermarket diffuser has never really gelled, makes it a bit too boy racer for me. nothing wrong with that, no criticism of the boy racer look - i think done well they're awesome, just not the look i'm going for here. oem+ or as i put it 'fixing what vw didn't do nicely enough' is what i'm after. soon as i got home i knew the diffuser had to go, so off it came. really pleased with the way he looks now.

i did think of that but didn't try it, selly. was going to plastidip it. love the back of the focus rs, just not on victor it seems. also could have worked on the fit so it sat underneath a bit more i think. thing is when i took it off i felt a bit relieved, just knew it was better standard. (and you can see my twin exhaust from wider angles...!)

very, but go carefully.
see earlier in the thread for fitting pics, they show where and how many clips are involved - a lot! i started from bottom right and worked round over the top. two screws underneath come out first, then gently tug to release clips round the top.

LOL saw that one coming! didn't want it looking angry! secretly knew you were right all along though...
thoughts on the spoiler, devil? better pics to come obvs...
lol sorry. Its Not my kind of thing really. I like the spoiler alot. Lukes r has a spoiler doesn't It.? What sort of price are the spoilers including painting and fitting?
What's next? Exhaust? Bcs exhaust sounds really nice on the R.

only current plans are to paint the dash trims piano black and clearcoat, then put a blue LED above the rear seats to match the glovebox and footwells. i never really turn that light on, like it dark in the back, but it looks cool in peterg's midnight blue. apart from that i'm happy to just enjoy driving it about for the summer; no plans to modify for performance, it's not exactly a slow car and i like the exhaust note as it is. when i had the gt i said it just needed 50 more horsepower, and i got 65 so i'm good. never say never tho...
cup spoiler depends on bodyshop, i think. it's about 350 quid for the spoiler and same for painting, fitting and removing the old one plus then there's glues, etc, though mine was all part or a service/mot etc so can't really tell you exactly. between 6 and 8 hundred quid is your ballpark.

Fair enough mate. I thought u just got some piano black dash trim from another member. Car looks great and I'm still very jealous lol. Hmmm that's a bit rich for me to splash out on a spoiler.

yeah asquires wrapped my r dash trim but it's not great, tbh. can still see the engraving indentations. got a set coming that are from the gt and are smooth so going to try a bit of a diy paint job on them, should be much better.
