Got hit by a truck from the back day before Christmas lol.. Messed up the rear right side pretty bad, including the rims. 3K worth of damage, good thing his insurance paid out!Lewis Miller wrote:What happened?C_Ogoo wrote: Im having withdrawal symptoms .. Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
I finally got round to fitting my milltek cat back! Happy with the result, would have preferred it a touch louder but we will see how it goes. Also took the down pipe off and heat wrapped the entire system. Only used 30 meters of heat wrap!!!
Before
Out with the old
All heat wrapped
Had to polish the back box!
Final result

Why did you wrap the whole exhaust?

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Taken the frog for a tyre change all around and full alignment then it'll be wash and a quick spin 'to dry it out'.... The fronts were virtually bald from three months of wheelspinning test-drivers and somehow there was a near identical lump taken out of front and back on one side - looking forwards to being less ginger with the fun foot

I've read a few times that heat wrapping the entire system give you a better note and will pop, seemed like a good idea while it was off!Jimbo13fe wrote:Why did you wrap the whole exhaust?
