BURY 9060

Post by BAIKAR »

heres a few pics of my bury 9060 bluetooth kit.

really good bit of kit. bought the bury kit on internet but i'd advise buying the kit from your local dealer as they supply the proper cable to plug straight into the back of your headunit. only one wire for the positive 12v and thats the extent of the wiring

voice activated is very good, you just talk to it with key phrases and it does it. you can say a string of numbers as fast as you like and it still gets it right.

i'm using it with my iphone and for those of you not wanting to pay big money this is a great option

installed the touch screen in the cubby hole so when i leave the car i just flip it closed. if you are going to install on the dash it is removable and comes with a neat little box to put it in your shirt pocket etc

you can also change the colours on screen so it matches your dash lighting at night. looks pretty oem to me and very happy so far.

sound is also very clear

cheers

buy it from a vw dealer and it comes with the quadlock cable that matches our head units. if you buy from internet expect to pay around £130. You then have the option of adapting the cable that comes with it or buying the vw cable for around £30. Actually its 2 cables. If you adapt the cable you'll have to cut into the cars stereo loom and thats not something I wanted to do

Haha and the phone number that comes up on the Bury screen when they supposedly dialed a number by speech had an extra 0 in it!

But seems good!!
