Scratch to headlight lens
Anybody know whether or not it is possible to purchase just a lens a cover for a headlight or do you have to purchase an entire assembly? £153 for a scratch to some plastic seems a little steep.

How deep is the scratch? If it's not too deep you could try wet/dry sandpaper and then some polish to fix it up

be careful with sanding the headlights, I tried a 3m repair kit and yes it did kind of work, but what I hadn't realized is that there is a UV coating on the lens and I ended up sanding the whole lens as it became blotchy as I removed the uv coating.

If you remove the UV coating you can give the lens some protection using clear lacquer spray - not ideal but better than keep polishing it.
