Post by Ourkez84 »

Hi all

Sorry if this has been posted before but I'm new to forum and couldn't find the answer...

I've just brought a lightening mdi cable from the net for my iPhone 5... It's great it all you want it to do is charge but I cannot get my music through it... Comes up with medi incompatible message... Any ideas??

Thanks

If it's not a genuine Apple one which is about £30 then it probably won't work but will prob charge your phone still
I have a genuine one and it works fine!

Can you tell us the colour of the little collar on the MDI end of the cable you have bought (and the part number if you have it)

I think that one is for the golf 7, I have the one with the white collar and it works perfectly, part number 000051446Q, cost me £40 from the dealer
