I'm undecided on both changes.

I prefer the white on black MFD but other than the colour the screen doesn't look much different (same size/res), and I prefer the overall layout of the current dash (ie the location of the fuel and water temp guages)

I think I prefer this new Mk6 steering wheel as it looks a bit more special than the current one, but there's something about it that just looks like it should have a Vauxhall badge in the center!

I started a Thread about this a while back it seems like the rumours were indeed true. Are the cars being built now with the facelift goods?
My car is being built sometime this week as I had a confirmed week 17 slot, wondering if I would get the new stuff or the old ones...

VW Model Year changes on W22.

Any car produced on or after that week will include the changes. More importantly, cars will include "fixes" to any initial teething problems.

I have a doubt . I read a user forum that has said that the new steering wheel, the new FIS and the new table are placed orders to cars in the month of May.

This is true? My car is called in April but is manufactured in week 23.

What difference does it make when you ordered it? It''s a single production line.

Thanks mate ;) was in with 1 of the Vw dealers today so they had info bout this and where fit to show me photo's etc. So generally if I place my order it'll have all the new extras. Considering a White GT with manual box, bluetooth kit and flat tyre indicator. Had a drive in the GT a couple of weeks ago and fell in love straight away, currently driving a 2006 Gti so due a change. Now that the new options are availalbe considering the Bi-Xenon lights and the upgraded 19" wheels as well. Personal opinion being I think the ride height is a bit on the high side and think the 19's might help the look a bit as I don't fancy tampering with the suspension. Not sure how much work is gonna have to be put in as I've never had a white car before and have been told they're quite hard to keep clean but regretting not buying the Gti in white.
Sorry if the post is a bit long winded guys but as I say I'm new to the forum and this is only my second post. Excellent forum and keep up the good work

Factory Bluetooth basic works fine
Factory bluetooth Premium only works with selected Nokia.

Yea just found that out today, rSAP enabled phones only, bit of a mess!! Thankfully I havn't yet placed my order, phoned vw customer service today to find out the truth behind it so the guy was recommending a Bury 9060 kit be fitted by your local dealer, (never heard of it before today, nor Fiscon) just about to look up Fiscon now.
Have any of you guys got either kit fitted? With the amount of police constantly patrolling the roads a built in car kit is definately a must..
