Happy New Year all! This is my first ever post on here so please be gentle!
Just over a year ago I bought my beautiful 60 plate GT TDI 140 in Sumatra with Truffle leather. To say I adore the car is an understatement. However just within the last few months the DSG Has got stuck twice in park and I have had to use the "override button" to get it out. This mainly happens when it is cold. Almost perfectly timed this has happened just as my car went out of its warranty and I have a huge gear this has got expensive written all over it! Does anyone know what may be causing it? Is it a common fault? It seems to only happen in the cold, sometimes.....
It has run for almost 3 weeks between occurrences!

Would try the brake light switch first.
