hope you had a good christmas i have had my rocc r white 270 bhp now fore about 3 month now and i love it but i would like some help when i pull away from stop the car seems to jerk rarther than be very smooth being automatic is this an easy fix or is it a vw dealer fix or can a very good vw indi sort this out

Hi bobbyjoe and welcome to the forum!
I had a very similar problem with my DSG Scirocco R a few months after I purchased the car.
I took it to my local VW garage where one of their technicians took it for a test drive and confirmed there was a fault. They said they would need to do further investigation work and had my car for almost 2 weeks!
They originally diagnosed a faulty mechatronic unit, then the clutch and then changed their mind again and said it was a faulty mechatronic........
They sent numerous diagnostic reports to VW who eventually told the garage to replace the complete gearbox which would've cost me, wait for it........ best part of £5k!!
Luckily for me the car was covered under a VW extended warranty so I didn't have to pay a penny.
I'd suggest you book it into your VW dealer for them to check, maybe suggest one of their technicians goes in the car with you while you drive.
Hope you resolve the fault with little or no expense to yourself.....

hope your not right but i work near main dealer i will have a chat with them next week when ime back at work my car is so smooth you carnt feel the gears change just the power i thourght my problem might be to lower reves in 1st or may be break stick when stoped but will let you now the out com thanks for your thoughts
