Hill Hold Assist

Post by R of Rock »

I have a 2009 2.0 TSi Gt Scirocco and my hill hold assist does not seem to be working. Any ideas?

Thanks

You sure it has hill hold? Mine is a 2009 (manual) and does not have this feature.

Pretty sure it wasn't fitted to early manual cars and was cut in later on. My
MY12 has it.

Can you turn it off if you have it?
I think I would find it annoying. I like having full control of when i roll back or not.

I think you can have it on VCDS. There's an option for it. I haven't tried to enable it.

Mines a 11 plate Rocco Manual and It has it. It has to be at a certain Steep angle before it kicks in. Try go on the most steepest hill you can find press your brake and see if it holds. If not you may not have it. P.S. Make sure there is no one behind you haha :D
