Headlight dust removal

Hi,
The dust dust in my 2010 tdi healights is staring to build up

Any ideas how to clean please

likewise = what a total ballache eh!

I've cleaned them out once, what I did was;

Got a hoover and a piece of vacuum pipe.
found a spray can lid that vagely had the same diameter of the hoover inlet/nozzle,
drilled a hole in said lid and put vacuum pipe through - silicone it in place
Attached lid to hoover nozzle, wrapped with tape to make as air tight as possible.

I removed the headlights, and pushed the vaccum end past the cluster bits to the glass.

Lastly, I got very flash and attached a small brush to the end off the vac pipe that was in the light to help agitate the dust. It's hard to explain but it worked beautifully.

Probably worth noting that the hoover will sounded strained as obv its not letting in as much air as it usually does, so I didn't leave it going for long periods of time to prevent it over heating.





DO NOT do what my made did - he decided to run the hose through them. :rolleyes: his lights are ruined lol
