Automatic folding mirrors?

Post by Chillout »

Hi all,

One thing I've noticed is that my electric folding mirrors don't close when locking the car... some guys in a Seat community told me that it's possible with newer models, but no-one seems to have the definitive answer to this question. Does anyone here have this feature enabled?

No, you use the switch to fold them in and out, - by "enabling" I think they mean recoding the way it works via VAGCOM - I think someone else was going to have a go at this

I posted this a while ago as it would be a good feature. I think it was Andy-GTI who had a look on vagcom but could not find anything :( If you see any way to do it please post it up.

I just had a look, and it seems that íf this is possible, it would be in either the convenience module or the driver-door module... so far, no luck yet...

But I will keep on experimenting!

from what I've heard, Seat Leon's (1P) support it, and they have the exact same CCM...
I'm trying to compare the various long codings, but there's just not enough info available...
