i believe when i bought my car it had tyre pressure sensor
but i just found one of my tyres with nail threw it
and completed deflated but
no warning came up on dash
is there any way check

The easiest way to tell if you have the TPMS system is if you have the reset button which is located in front of the gearstick on older.cars and in the corner of the glovebox in the later cars. A tyre symbol also.lights up yellow in tje dash for a few secs.when you switch on the ignition.
The system doesn't measure pressure but uses the wheel speed sensors to detect a difference in rolling radius from the datum when the system is reset. Unfortunately the car needs to drive a distance for tje system detects the drop.
When I ordered my MY12 car it didn't have TPMS as I chose optional 19" alloys, which removed it.

Only the R model has this system for 19 inch wheels
