Hi guys,
So I lost one of my keys for my 2013 ROC. I got the replacement today at VW and the service advisor said they reset my spare key and the new replacement key.
Does this mean the Key that was lost is useless now? If found, will it be able to start the car? I know for a fact it will still open the door if you remove the cap next to handle and manually open the door but wasn’t sure if it will start the car if you push the push/start button or if if it will unlock the car by the remote?
FYI, I have the push to start option in my ROC.
Cheers,
Keyless Replacement

Re: Keyless Replacement
I believe as a matter of course, dealers when programming new keys they will deselect the "lost" key. As you say it will open the door but the car will not start.

Re: Keyless Replacement
thanks Cupra... the remote to open the doors and the trunk would be deactivated too right on the lost key?
