Thinking of buying Alloygators (protective plastic inserts for alloy wheels)...are these any good?
I've also seen cheaper alternatives available, has anyone got any advice on either of these?
Thanks.
Stuart.

Congratulations you win today's prize for the "best understatement":-)whiteDevil_170 wrote:They do look hideous I must admit
Seriously though what's the point if having a nice set of alloys and then ruin tjem by fitging these. If you're concerned aboutkerb damage, buy steelies or learn to park.

Re: Alloygators
Tyres with the alloy protector lip of rubber is as far as I would go! All the Pirelli that came on mine have them!
Not that I think they would actually do much! I guess if you slightly rubbed a curb it would stop scratching...
I couldn't tell you haven't hit a curb yet fingers crossed!
Ps don't get those plastic gators, you might as well get steels with hub caps!

It was really just to hide minor damage that was already on the car when I bought it.
As for learning to park ... maybe you should learn to spell.
Thanks for the helpful advice though.
