Dusty lights...

Post by m_mci »

Hey guys,

I've just picked up my 61' GT BMT roc yesterday, but I noticed when checking out the lights, that they look really dusty inside.. Like the plastic cover is really dirty.. Anyone know if you can get to the lights to clean this? Or am I gonna be stuck with dusty lights

Might have been better in the Lights forum??

I think they are tiny chips in the lens,I used some rubbing compound on mine, they looked a little better.

Was it easy to get into the lights to do that? Can't see a way to get the full headlights out without basically removing the front of the car :/

I only compounded the outside off the lens,it's a motorway cruiser so the outside is peppered wit tiny chips.
