Hi all,
Only had my rocco a day and I have a warning light on. Looks like this (!) The manuel says it's brake fluid level too low, or fault in the brake system.
This light came on about two mins after I filled the car up for the first time.
Is it serious? I'm a little worried as I have only had the car less than a day.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Many thanks,
Ash

Re: Warning light
I would suggest anything to do with brakes is serious. If you bought it from a trader / dealer take it back to them and have them fix it. If you bought privately, then bad luck and get a local dealer / indy check it out.
If the warning light is yellow then it's safe to drive with caution. If it's red then I woulfn't risk it.
You can check the brake fluid level but it shouldn't drop by much due to brake wear

Re: Warning light
Thanks for the reply, however upon second look it's flashed up tyre pressure change on one or more wheels, so relieved to say the least haha.
I've got 18' interlagos wheels, does anyone else have this trouble? The tyres seem fine, however I am only really used to my 15' on my old mk4 Golf. This is all abut new to me.

Re: Warning light
Don't know how you could mix up those symbols, but that's good news:-)
The tyre pressure monitor works off the ABS wheel sensors and doesn't measure actual pressure. It detects a change in rolling radius of the wheel. When the tyre pressures are adjusted or a wheel or wheels have been off the datum for the system needs reset. You reset by pressingamd holding the reset button located.either in the top right of the glovebox or in front of the gearstick, depending on the year of the car. When it's reset ypu hear a beep and the light goes out.
It's all explained in the manual.
You do get the odd false alert as it's quite sensitive.

Thanks bob, much appreciated.

Cheers again.

Re: Warning light
I have three new tyres and one slightly older.. With a boot load of stuff (and perhaps a 'large' mate) it will trigger it! Very sensitive...very handy!
