Scirocco mats

Post by Phil »

Morning All!

After two years of owning my Roc and living down a mud track (very frustrating in current weather), i have decided to invest in a set of rubber mats for it. I really don't care much about the logo i just want to do the trick for winter without breaking the bank! Obviously i want the mats to fit properly and i was just after some advice from others who may have had the same thought :)

You have to be careful of what you buy if its rubber. I bought a set of eBayfor around 24 quid which was Roc specific, my God it smelled horrible. Despite leaving then outside to ventilate for over 3 days and washing then with different cleaning products it was impossible to drive with them even with windows down. So i got rid of them and got me just normal ones.

That's a good deal for front + rear: the fronts retail at £40. Fitted a pair vw fronts over the holiday period: fit very well, and certainly don't whiff much!

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some genuine scirocco rubber mats? I cant seem to find them on the vw store and was wondering if there is anywhere else I can get them?

Your local TPS or local VW dealer, however if you are one of these people that must buy online then you can get them from here;
