factory de-badged

Post by BAIKAR »

has anyone a picture of their car debadged from the factory? i'm guessing you lose the scirocco badge as well as the 2.0 tsi badge. I didn't choose that option but was thinking of debaging it when i get it for a couple of reasons but keeping the vw badge of course

1 looks cleaner at the back end without badges
2 easier to keep clean/polish without badges
3 i'm not worried that people may think oh he's done that to make it look like its more than what it is considering its already top spec. 2.0 GT.
4 makes life harder for car theives stealing to order if you'f ever be that unlucky to get targeted

what you think ? badged or debadged?

Been thinking along the lines of de-badging too as I always catch them with the wash mitt ! They'll probably de-badge themselves
I often get asked " What does Tsi stand for" after explaining it a few times I now say - Twat Sat Inside

Dealers can remove the rear badges and I think the rear looks much neater without them.

Ya, I'm sure they will do it for you if you ask the salesman kindly.

Yeah I know it's one of the free options you can pick from the factory but it's very easy to do yourself. Hair dryer and a little polish to remove the leftovers
