tdi scirocco started then cut out and wont start
my 2.0 tdi scirocco started and then cut out after a few seconds and now wont start turns over a bit strange timing belt is perfect and no faults are showing on the dash one other day it went a bit strange for a few scconds but went ok after i switched it of and on again i change the filters incase it was a dirty fuel but now it wont start

Have you tried both keys? Sounds like it could be the immobiliser.

Daft as this may sound, have you tried disconnecting the negative on the battery for 30 secs then reconnect and try turning it over. this used to solve the immobiliser issue on my A3 till i got the chip in the clocks renewed. used to be o.k. for a few weeks then just wouldnt start do the above and first turn good as new. started doing it more frequent in the end so bit the bullit and had it sorted.
