I have just joined yesterday and I already know this is going to be a great site and very useful
Picking up my first VW next week, I have always loved the look of the Scirocco and after many hours of reading / reviews I just knew it had to be the "R"........can't wait till next week and I'm sure you'll see me on here quite a bit!

Hi Bitmadmax, is it really? How long ago did you get rid of it? What did you trade her in for? I got it from Hedge end dealership, bit far from Salford?
It is absolutely immaculate inside and out, really really looked after..........
Was it you that put the stone protector strips on the front and over the rear arches? If so, where did you get them done bud, cracking idea, I guess you can just replace a strip at a time if necessary.......

Bitmadmax will be able to point you in the right direction in regards to the strips!
I've already taken the ones over the rear arches off as was extremely discoloured, ( Shows more on white I guess )
The front ones are staying but mind you they are starting to get a little dirty on the edges, I think they are a blessing tho mate! defo worth a look into and I will defo be replacing them at a later date when needed
