Looks a good price, mileage is a little high for a 62 plate though.
Bare in mind, that car has been modified.

In what way, other than the black spoiler?
Is that you Jordan?

Wow an incredibly small world Julian!
The spoiler, black bonnet and rear badges and the alloy hub caps aren't standard, It also appears to have been lowered as it sits similar to mine.

Re: Looking to buy this.
Ok, barge pole comes to mind. Nothing against modding cars i just woulnt want to buy one!
Missed out on one on Sunday after id provisionally sold mine. Tried to sell it to Dom but the price was too high.
I think i will remove my from sale until one turns up.
I noticed the badges and spoilers. The discs didnt look standard either. Better to ask.
Thanks,

Re: Looking to buy this.
Hello mate, I was the previous owner of this car. Im not sure if it has been through someone else before parkway got hold of it, as i part exchanged it for a Mini GP2 as a London daily driver.
As you can see from the build thread above, the car was modded. I also had no ends of problems with the car when i was trying to take it back to standard. I left the upgraded Hertz speakers in the front of the car as they wouldn't come out (terrible audio install by a local company),the rear speakers wouldn't work, and i assume still don't work as its really hard to telln when you are in the car. All of the wiring looms have been chopped and messed up by at the same company. There were also huge issues with the remapping after i got it remapped back to original form, the fuel consumption was terrible (10mpg), the airbag light also kept coming on for no reason.
The car is standard now though, it is at the correct ride height on original springs and the discs and brakes are all the same.all OEM parts were re-fitted.
I really would not recommend buying this car, I did outline the above issues to the mini garage but they seemed happy to take the car.
Another thing to note, i bought the car for £22,200 when it only had 10,000 miles. I really think their advert is hugely over priced.
If i were you, try and go for a car you know hasn't been modded. I think the modding on mine when i had it just pushed it a little bit too hard and now its ready to pack up.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions that i can help with!
cheers

Re: Looking to buy this.
22k for a 2011 11 plate seems high even for the low mileage, decent spec and high number of owners 4.
The fitted options are leather, electric lumbar Support, parking sensors, panoramic roof, RNS-510, 9" Talladega Alloys, Dyn-Audio.
The bluetooth appears to be a retrofit due to the second screen, factory warranty is 3yrs so shouldn't run to oct 2015. The latest the factory warranty could run is end of Aug 2014 earliest is Mar 2014 if really on an 11 plate. Tyres are unbranded budget jobbies (Sailun Atrezzo ZS+) so have been changed at some point which is strange for such a low mileage.
I'd suspect this been modified at some point and reverted to standard(ish). The problem with used R's is I suspect going to be finding an unmolested example, a owner could modify then revert to standard for px purposes and it would still be eligible as "approved used". Black wheels are a difficult item to factory order for example as they didn't appear on the published price list.

Re: Looking to buy this.
I paid £29k for a brand new fully loaded(except recaros) so I think its a bit overpriced.
Maybe you should consider waiting for the facelift model that's basically the same car in a slightly different suit.

Or buy an even cheaper pre face lift when the face lifted one comes out!
As I said values vary alot and I thought mine was hard to value.

Um I was referring to the one on pistonheads... not the first one where the previous owner has confirmed mods.whiteDevil_170 wrote: Read 2 posts above yours. The previous owner stated he heavly modified it then reverted it back to stock

Re: Looking to buy this.
Looks good mate, check the listing though, as it says it comes with an RCD 510 (with 6 CD changer) but the pictures are an RNS 510 which is a satnav.
Even the description references the CD changer etc.

Re: Looking to buy this.
I wouldn't worry about that mate.
When I got mine te advert was listing a few generic things! The advert said I had an rcd510 and a tyre repair kit... Turns out I had the RNS510 and a space saver wheel!
Just go with what you think... 9 times out of 10 you will know if something's dodgey! If the garage is a good standard, the staff are cool but not too desperate, they're willing to let you test drive it how you want! I wouldn't worry too much... PS don't take too much notice of google reviews.. People only tend to leave bad reviews.
Wait for the perfect one to come along.. You won't regret it
