new tyres goodyear £133 fitted good price?

Post by alanr »

Hi,
Going to need some new tyres on the front, current tyres Pirelli p7 have got 12k on them

Going to try goodyear eagles F1 next and got a price of £133 each fitted

Just wondering if that is a fair price and how good are these tyres

Thanks for any info

They are excellent tyres, although personally I've not tried tjem on the Rocco yet.

Price wise it's a fair price as they are currently £115 each from Camskill. By the time you add delivery and fitting, it'll be around the price you have been quoted.

Also try http://www.lovetyres.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I found them slightly cheaper than camskill. Heard good things about the Goodyear Eagles and that's what I'll be ordering in a few months.

As he's replacing P7s I would assume 235/40x18 as 19s came with P Zeros.

I bought a pair from my local tyre place this morning for a few quid shy of £300 so yes, that's a fair price.

One word a caution regarding Goodyear F1 A2s. They are by far the slippiest tyres I have ever experienced when just put on and take a good few miles to get optimum grip. More so than other brands of tyres I've used.

That's a really good price. Last set of 19" P Zeros I bought were £151 each and I thought that was a good price.
