Bike Racks

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum having just exchanged my Mk 5 2.0 litre Golf for an ex demonstrator 2013, 2.0 Scirocco R with loads of extra's including panoramic roof etc.

I had a tow bar on the golf just to carry our two bikes and I'm told a bar can't be fitted to this one, (not as though I would fancy one on it), but how to carry the bikes? It seems that most people go for the Saris Bones carrier so my question is, would I be able to fit one to the R with the rear roof spoiler?

I use a saris bones and it works fine on my R

I used to run a saris bones rack on the back had clear vinyl on the rear bumper where the feet went too to stop scratches was on cheap of eBay
