Bonnet Alinement

Post by JohnsonAsco »

Someone at work just said to me about my bonnet, how it seems out of line, I don't know how to explain it but basically if you run your finger from where the R Line badge is on the side up to the bonnet your finger will feel more of a overhang of the bonnet on one side than the other, it's not major major but after feeling it myself a couple of times you can notice a slight difference. Shall I take it back to VW as I've only had it just over a month from brand new.

If you have any concerns, now is the time to take it back. Also worth having a look at another Scirocco and check the alignment on that.

Remember it's designed like that, something to do with pedestrian safety if you hit one...lets them slide gracefully down the wing in one lovely movement apparently....
