Manchester Candy R-Line
Hi all,
Quick introduction...my name's Garry and I bought my Candy White 2.0 TSI Scirocco R-Line last year. Thought it was about time to post a few pics of her. All pics taken using Samsung S3 phone.
Being a newbie to car detailing it took 10 hours (not sure if that's acceptable or not) to complete the following process:
- Jet-wash
- Snowfoam pre-wash
- Alloys cleaned
- Rinse off
- 2nd snowfoam layer
- Shampoo down using lambswool washmitt
- Clay whole car and alloys with Meguirs claybar and quick detailer
- Werkstat Prime (2 layers)
- Werkstat Jett (2 layers)
- Werkstat Glos (2 layers)
- Exhaust polish with Autosol
- Quick dust down interior
- Quick hoover interior
Here's some before & after pics.
Anyways, that's all for now. Til next time...
Garry

Nice work for 10hours worth. Today I seen an older lady driving a £200k Noble in my town taking it easy over the sleeping-policemen. You don't see that often up north huh! That's one fast older woman
Whilst a sexy younger model in the local VW parts dept. is eagerly waiting her 2l Rocco TDI next week.
Toyboy or? hmmmm
You got a problem sexing cars I think

looking good
Are you using any iron-removing products or clay bars?
also tar removers are great in the arsenal

I haven't used any tar removers or iron-removing products....yet....although I have clayed the entire car, including the alloys (but with an old piece of clay)
my only concern is that using tar removers, won't that also strip my car of any wax / sealant protection that I've built up over the previous washes / details?

Re: Manchester Candy R-Line
well you usually use tar removers and iron removers when you have all product off anyway.
Then you wax or apply your sealant.
That's how i've been doing it anyway
