keeps cutting out

With a: Manual box
Options: none
but the colour is not shown in the list, but it is pearlescent black

keeps cutting out

hi
my 10 plate 2lt tdi gt rocco has decided to just cut out as i am driving, diagnostic showed nothing, explained to the garage exactly was was happening and they said it was electrical, they did a test and alternator was ok but battery was not charging correctly and it was below .9 amps so i told them to change it, it has worked fine for two weeks but its now happening again, driving along and it just dies only for a few seconds, get 3 beeps but no error on the dash then it picks up again, i noticed yesterday when i was giving her a wash and polish there is a lot of water in the passenger side rear light and, 1 was wondering if this could be the problem and 2 how do i take the rear light out to clear the water

know some one can help and its appreciated..............thanks :)

Hey man, did you ever get to the bottom of your issue?

Just had something very similar happen today, jumped in the car and literally 2mins down the road and the engine conked out, radio and electrics all still working away just fine but the car wouldn't start again - tries to turnover but just dies. No warning lights and no diagnostic errors!

I checked my rear passenger side light and like yours it has a lot of water / condensation inside - did you find out if it's linked at all?

An hour or so later it eventually started up again and has been fine since!
