I am running the OEM Pirelli P Zeros and they are spot on. Used Goodyear F1s on my previous car and they were also great. I quite fancy trying Michelin Pilot Sports
Check out Camskill, great range, price and service. Prices vary from week to week so it.pays to keep track and buy when low, even if you don't need them at that time.
If there was a "best" tyre we would all be using it. Tyre performance is subjective so there isn't a "best"
What tyres would people generally recommend for a 2.0 210 Tsi on 18" wheels? Would it be the same as the above? Or do they differ depending on petrol/diesel/engine sizes etc? I've done a little research so I'm leaning towards some now but I wanted to see if anyone else recommend anything else before i go ahead and purchase. Also, is it safe to replace just the front tyres or just the back tyres? Or is it better to do them all at once? My rear ones are on their way out too but I've been told they'll probably last me another month or two, can't decide if it's worth holding off or just getting them all done together.
No.issue with replacing tyres in pairs, but it's best to put the new ones on the rear axle.
A good tyre works on the car irrespective of whether it's petrol or diesel or the wheels are 18" or 19"
Issue with.tyre recommendations is that they are subjective and based on personal opinion. People have different driving styles and different expectations. Some people wamt ultimate grip, others longevity and others the cheapest.

Gone for Michelin Pilot Sport 3's. Will find out what they're like next week, be interesting to see if I notice a difference as the lady who had the car before me had a set of Kumhos put on the front, my car spun an awful lot at lights in the wet so I'm curious to see if these will improve that at all.
I changed my rear continentals for hankooks and they totally changed the feel of the car for the worse. Back end feels so much looser now, especially during faster cornering and lane changes etc
Yeah just fitted some Goodyear Eagle F1's to the front of mine (still have Pirelli P7's on rear) and seems fine so far, I reckon I get more feedback from them. Be interesting to see if the centers wear out as bad as they did with the Pirelli's.
