Hey Guys!

How can I get my Iphone 5 to work with the MDI in the car :(

Hope someone can help :)

In: Candy White
With a: Manual box
Options: 19 inch lugano alloys , Metal pedals, satnav , DAB , leather , parking sensors , Red footwell LEDs , white led interior , hkb door sills , Needle sweep ,Horn beep on open/close , big speedo, drl deactivated, cornering fogs, An ocd for keeping it clean! Gloss black mirrors.

Have a read of this thread. Uklee managed to find an offical vw cable that worked

I just use one of these in my car,does exactly what I need charges and plays music.

I don't understand why the lighting cable from VW is so chunky, couldn't they have made it smaller

I do the same as Pav no issues ! Cheaper than paying for a brand new vw lead I think , plus it's more useful as you can use the adaptor around the house Aswell
