Bluetooth

Post by Rocco7500 »

Hi folks sorry if this sounds a stupid question, I've recently bought a 2010 Rocco and thought happy days multi function steering wheel so I can use hands free for my phone, how wrong was I lol. Having looked I now see it doesn't have a module below any of the seats so I'm assuming it doesn't have Bluetooth, I've looked on eBay and can pick one up with wiring and microphone for less than £200. My question is if I buy one of these and fit it will I be able to make calls with my iPhone 5, please help before I waste my money.

Your best of getting a Fiscon unit. It's plug and play behind the radio into the original loom, and functions through the screen and handsfree.

Aaron when you say screen do you mean the original head unit? We have a fair few vws through our body shop & one pdi polo this week had a touchscreen unit mounted on the dash top, about the size of an iPhone 4
