Hi guys,
Only managed to notice today that I'm only missing front mats rather than a full set. Don't ask me why as I've no bloody idea either lol.
My question for you all is, can you get hold of genuine front mats on their own? I know there's the luxury ones that come in front or rear options but I'm not fancying spending £63 on two mats.

Re: front mats
You can order rubber front mats (with 'Scirocco' on them) from a VW dealership for £33.33 for the pair (at least, that's all I paid). I use them over the winter months, then switch back to the softer carpet type for the summer months.

Sorry I missed off its carpet mats I was after. I just can't stand rubber ones although I do see the point in how you use them

Re: front mats
If you just want the standard plain black carpet mats (no wording) you can just ask your dealer for a set of golf mk5 mats at £ 40.
Which at a tenner a mat for genuine perfect fitting mats isn't too bad.
Quality is nothing special, but they will easily last a couple or three years.

Re: front mats
Yeah £40 isn't bad is it, just a shame I've already got rear mats lol. Makes the fronts £20 each then, shock horror :o
