Keeping it R though, well RS to be exact. Just placed my order for a 2014 RS5 in Sepang blue with the black optics pack, sports pack, in fact all the packs options were ticked

The scirocco isn't going anywhere, I'm going to keep her and she will become my girlfriends car. There's no way I could face parting with the R, it's far too much of a great car and there's no way you could replace it for similar money.
With a stage 2+ it actually feels quicker than the RS5 but the power delivery is completely different, the Scirocco has a wall of torque that just surges the car forward, the RS has less torque low down and the V8 has to be rev'd to it 8500rpm redline to make it shift but it does shift. The scirocco is a feather weight in comparison with the portly Audi and you can really feel this, especially under braking where you can feel the big brakes of the RS working hard to bring things to a halt. The scirocco just stops on a six pence and never complains.
Cornering and handling are in a different league so I won't compare those two.
The main reason for the RS was the fact that it's two cars in one, in Comfort mode it's a quiet soft ride, a nice relaxed coupe, flick it in to Dynamic mode and it's a different beast, the suspension stiffens, the exhaust opens it's valves, the steering firms up, it becomes Mr Hyde, this suits me perfectly, I can cruise to work in relative comfort but have a genuine sports car when I want some fun.
The scirocco I love, especially since I updated the Bilstein Ride Control box to the new iRC which has totally transformed the car again but it was always a little too much of a small car for long distance cruising.
I'll put some pics up (in the correct section mods) once it arrives which isn't until around June!
I'll still be on here as the R will be sharing the same garage, although I'm still not sure about owning 2 blue cars.
