Could someone tell me if the RNS315 comes installed with European maps or is it uk only?

Just to add another question if that's ok - how do we go about updating the maps? Can they be yarred anywhere?

Only VW can provide updated maps, the unit will securely pair any SD card with valid maps upon insertion so that it only works with the paired unit.
VW designed the system to take advantage of the "secure" element of the secure digital card standard, this is currently uncracked and due to lack of popularity may never be cracked.
