Today i fitted my newly acquired winter wheels & tyres , and wrapped my 18" Thunders up for the winter :yummy:

Image

17" Interlagos copies , wrapped up in 235/45x17 Dunlop Winter Sport SP tyres .

Image

It's amazing how a set of wheels can change the whole look of the car. They're the same rolling radius , but the 17's look so much smaller  .
Oh well , it's only for the winter - and if it saves the road salt getting to the diamond turned finish of my GTS wheels - then it's no real hardship. The Winter Sport's should be better in all this snow we've been forecast too

Thanks to Zenekor and others I purchased and fitted the "Bonnet/Hood damper kit" after checking all components and fitting instructions from Zenekors thread. I fitted it in 15 minutes, it works very well and looks as though it belongs there(why vw didn't do this beggers believe

No need to apologize, well done for getting a bargain!

Surprised he cancelled the auction given that the auction was already over £800 though ha. Seems a bargain to me since the others seem to go for about £1000 on eBay?
