Thinking about a Diesel Scirocco

Hi new to this forum so not sure if this is posted in the right place!

I'm looking at buying a 2.0 Scirocco GT or GTS in Diesel DSG

I'm just wondering what can be done to a diesel

I know it can be chipped but can it be stage 2'd ect. (Dont know much about performance upgrades so any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have a 170GT TDI (coming from a TT 225) and I have found it to be surprisingly powerful. I would suggest skipping the 140 as you obviously have performance in mind. I'm also finding the 170 good economy wise. I'm very happy with my choice and would definitely say go for it. Tuning wise though I don't know as this is not something I'm looking to do.

I have just purchased a VW Scirocco 2.0 TDI GT 170 bhp from a VW garage. Test drive it for 10 minutes and was sold. I have a Golf TDI GT Sport 140bhp now and it's a much smoother drive with obviously more power. Pick it up Tuesday and it feels like Christmas when I was 10 again!!

It's easy to get the 170 remapped to 200+ bhp. It all boils down to how much cash you want to throw at the car.
