I was considering doing this to, but it seems quite time consuming and probably expensive mod, shame though s the T5 grill looks Fab in place of the honeybomb

Exactly mate, 400 euros is a ridiculous price for a piece of plastic for a real one.

This is one stunning Scirocco, amazing inspiration for when I get my CW one! Love the White & Black theme, always works so well..

Wheels are amazing, and so is the photography, really shows the car off well!

Keep up the good work bud!

Still like the T5 grill / wish it could be produced in greater numbers and perhaps keep the costs down ?

It's because they didnt sell the scirocco in the USA, nobody has developed parts for them in great numbers. I woul of thought if someone made a mould of one of these and got it produced they could make an absolute fortune if they could undercut the German maker.

Where is that grill from then mate, as didnt you have issues with it before?

Shame you sold the wheels they were stunning, but can only imagine something bigger and better next year!

Still a lovely looking car. Yours looks a lot whiter than the one its next too in the last pic too?

Also are you door strips the standard ones jsut rubbed down and sprayed, or did you buy new ones in primer?

Found out a lad with a show winning scirocco was selling up and selling parts so bought the grill off him at a very good price. It's the one from Germany he paid 400 for it I think. Basically it's just a t5 conversion.

Yeah I know what wheels I want but not sure if I will be able to make them fit on the front for what I want to run. Plus I may be getting a finish done on them that I've never seen done before so look out for future posts.

I think it's probably just how the photo came out with the whiteness.

The side strips have just been sanded primed and painted gloss black mate. I want to get rid of all the plastics on the car. This is how it should of came from the factory.

Yeah it leaves holes in the bodywork though doesn't it, of can you cover them with the side skirts from the r line etc?

If your plastics don't break when removed I may be interested! Did they take them off to do them or were they done on the car?

I can't wait to get mine and get it started. I work for VW so am getting one of the forecourt at quite a deal as long as it doesn't sell. Just a shame it's a 140 without leather but I can love with that!

I'm not following with the holes in the bodywork mate. Yeah they plastics were removed I believe. You can't complain if you got a good deal though, 140 still pulls well, just get a decent map on it. Leather seats sometimes come up for sale so just keep a look out to upgrade your interior. If love a set of recaro cs for the front but can't afford it at the minute!

Nice looking rocco.

Been thinking of doing my front bumper bits white and the rear bit black and looking at your car has inspired me to do this.

Have you got exhaust tips?

Glad you like it and it has helped you mate, exhaust I'd the standard gt trim but I was going to put a twin 3" tip on to make it look more aggressive, but never got round to it.
