Stock dyno run showing serious loss in power

Post by mj9424 »

Hi everyone, just a quick question for anyone who's had their totally stock scirocco r dyno'd

Had mine done today at a charity event and the figures came out at 246bhp :/

Now i realise that the advertised figures are usually a bit optimistic but when the guy who put it on the dyno got out and said thats not other stock r's have put out on his dyno it got me a bit worried.

Any help or advise would be much appreciated

Thanks.

Mj.

At the wheels or crank?

There's a huge amount of uncertainty involved with any dyno measurement, just looks at the differences between Superchips/AMD and JKS.

If you want to know whether or not you're cars running right (to a certain extent), log: requested boots, actual boost, requested HP fuel pressure and actual HP fuel pressure.

A standard R puts out 261bhp so I'm a little confused as to your serious loss in power, how much were you expecting?
RS5, Scirocco R. You can never have enough R's

just go to Awesome for a dyno and you will feel much better, in reality i never bother with these on mass events when you are like sheep and way to many toys get thrown out of prams

was this by any chance the one at Shark which was for a good cause

I had a similar issue when my car went to scorpion it was the fuel I was using at the time!
Need that vpower nitro or monumentum to hit the correct figures!
