Fitting 255/35/19s on my R

Post by CPD-SciroccoR »

...would it cause any problems?

I've been offered 2 Conti Contact 3's for free and wondered if i'd get away with putting them on the rear?

Any ideas?

if you check out the tyre calculators stickied in the wheels, brakes, suspension section http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... =34&t=6044" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it suggests the rim will be too narrow for the tyre, not a good idea imo

also useful that I will add to the sticky post

Thanks for the information!

I had a feeling it would be too good to be true like!!

But I thought it deserved to some investigation anyway. I'll just have to focus on identifying some for the fronts as the current ones are hopeless.
