Re: Deep black tdi with plenty planned on the horizon
I wish wigit, Dave did offer me them but at £1200 I had to pass he was more than helpful to deliver me the news that infact have rs3 discs and the offset is different to the TTRS which I need and found a set of delivery miles for a very good price!
Not got them fitted yet pal just make sure you get TTRS discs not rs3 ones as they don't fit!

Re: Deep black tdi with plenty planned on the horizon
So this happened tonight (yes I know the car is dirty)
Before
After
IMO they look amazing! And stopping power is IMENCE!!! pedal is abit longer and I believe it's because I havnt upgraded the master cylinder but its a nice progressive pedal but stomp on it and nearly go through the windscreen! There's abit of steering wheel wobble under heavy breaking but hoping that's because different discs with different callipers and just need a little bedding in :-) overall an amazing upgrade and not to pricey!

I am quite interested in the AP coilovers, but I imagine the , normal/sports/economy mode will not work now?
And what would you say the ride quality is like now with the coilovers as opposed to the HnRs?
Also where did you get your coilovers from, as I cant see any for that price you stated?
thanks

I got mine from larkspeed paid 428 from memory for them, you loose dcc yea but i never really used it anyway, having ap's even as low as they can go is like running on sport in h&rs not crashy at all, really good ride!

Re: Deep black tdi with plenty planned on the horizon
Not crashy at all eldric and rears are all the way down and front probably have 1 turn left so pretty much at the bottom. Really happy with the AP's! Yea managed to get hold of some ttrs discs and they went straight on! :-)

Re: Deep black tdi with plenty planned on the horizon
I'd say the ap's are the same as h&rs on original not sport or comfort
