Nearly time for me to sell up

Hi All,

after 3.5 years of very happy ownership, it is nearly time for me to sell my Roc.

It will be a sad time selling it, as I absolutely love it, but my little girl is getting bigger and we have another one on the way. As such, a family orientated car is needed that we can pack with stuff. The wife reckoned we could keep it and get by, but I have my sensible head on and know that isn't the ideal thing to do.

I am going away completely from this kind of car - and have ordered a Kia Sportage after much research. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, or suit everyones needs, but it comes with nearly everything as standard - Xenon, Cruise Control, Heated front and rear seats, rear camera, twin sunroof blah, blah blah. The only thing it lacks is a standard fit DAB radio, but I'm not overly fussed about that, as a few stations have disappeared that I originally had DAB in the Roc for. Plus, with a young family, the commanding driving position makes me feel a lot better about safety.

I will be selling a few bits in mid September in the Buy/Sell section - Delux Mats & Hatch Bag boot liner, and my HK Stainless Steel sill plates, so keep an eye out if you are interested.

Did you sell your car private or chop it in with the deal.....

I am going to sell it privately. The dealer wasn't really interested in having it with the deal I got, so I will sell it privately nearer the time when my new motor is expected.
