Yesterday I completed a xenon retrofit to mine after many months if sourcing parts and a few individual items required.
So happy with my new lights.
But its hard graft to get there.
Kind thanks to AMD tuning thurrock for programming the lights/module for me.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Dropped it off at the dealer's for a warranty check on the gear and the battery. 1, 2 and Reverse are always a tad too stiff for my liking! It might just be psychological.
I can't quite believe I got a 2.0TDi as my courtesy car though. Very impressed with how it drives, the 40bhp less is not noticable during normal driving

replaced a left side dipped beam bulb which had blown, put bosch wipers on and gave it a lovely big clean in the sun. the bling is back.

Ye had it's second service then off to the detailers for a nice clean and spruce up.
Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Had my wheels swapped front to back and tracking checked (at 12,000 miles).

Intermediate oil and filter change (every 5000 miles) and plug gap check followed by a wash (the car not me) to take advantage of the cool weather and then a run to check for leaks and clean the brake discs after the wash. All looking good .

Finished work at 12 then spent 3 and a half hours cleaning my car inside and out. Hooverd then polished the dash. Then cleaned leather seats using doctor leather wipes. After that i Washed the car followed by tar remover then went round and got rid of any iron fallout. Dryed then applied rejuvenate which lays a base for waxes then gave it a coat of auto finesse illusion. Will get some pics up soon.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
not today but saturday - replaced all the centre caps - wheels off and gave them all a good clean while i had the opportunity to get inside the rims
then washed, clayed and waxed the whole car. finished the lot a mere 6 hours after starting
next job is to fix the worst offending stone chips...

I also share this phobia, absolutely hate parking in normal spaces

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Today (well, Wednesday) I collected my Salsa Roc from the bodyshop after a bonnet and rear-quarter respray (picked up a huge stone chip on the bonnet which had gone through the lacquer and through to the primer). Was really nervous about the colour matching (as it's coming up on 4 years old now (owned since new)) but it looks perfect. So happy to have the Roc back after a week of driving a Nissan Micra automatic as a courtesy car!

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Well, yesterday - I completed my bluetooth retrofit! I was really proud of it - then I found the Mic wasn't working.
I've read so many articles on this, and apparently the mic is wired wrong on some of the kits. Will rectify this on friday and hope it works! The A2DP on the kit has amazing sound quality, even with the RCD510!
Next job will be to change out the RCD510 to RNS510 - compared to this, it will be a piece of cake

Wrapped my silver trim piece above glovebox in carbon fibre vinyl. And attempted to wrap the steering wheel badge. But failed everytime It's new to me! Must admit just that one piece looks loads better
