I just read something very interesting about the Pirelli tyres, from the Pirelli guys: They have been told to "level the playing field" by the FIA, and this is the result. They also think that if the tyres were not like this, then the Red Bulls may have lapped EVERYONE at this circuit!
Also I do miss a good fuel stop, even though its probably been made safer it added to the race re strategies and working who was doing what.
