Keep or let go?

Hello guys,

I need your advice. I had my Scirocco since July 2011 and loved every minute in it since, but now fancy a change, something with a little more power.

Do you recommend I sell it and buy something afterwards? If so, can you recommend where's the best place to do that? It's a fully specced Candy White as seen on my old showroom thread here. Or should I look for a swap?

It all depends on how much money your are looking to get for it. You will always get more by selling it privately than part-ex/trading it in, but it's whether you want to go through all of the hassle involved in a private sale. Get a part-ex price on a car you are looking at buying then check out Parker's/Glasses guide to see how much it's worth private sale then weigh up whether the extra hassle is worth the extra money.

It would make sense. I'm guessing Autotrader & here are my best bets. Was thinking maybe swap with a TTS or RS. Maybe an older plate or I could pay additional cash, depending what it is. Hmm.
