Cooper S to An R

Hey guys,

Anyone came from a Mini Cooper S to the R ? or even mini to scirocco ?

Just wondered what your thoughts were on the two having owned both

I've owned a Mini Cooper and a Scirocco (not JCW or R though sadly) and it'd be the 'rocco any day for me and I no longer own either so don't feel the need to be biased. Rocco looks better, rides much better and is more reliably tuned.

We came from a R56 Cooper S with a remap to a 2.0tsi Scirocco (now remapped).....The roc is much smoother to drive, looks better and is much more practical day to day but the Mini had better handling and is better on fuel. Only kept the Mini for 2 years but have had the Roc for 3.5 years.....That says alot really.....Plus we cannot find anything else to repalce the Roc as it ticks so many boxes...

Yeah I love the looks of the R from the outside, inside could be improved a little but still nice.

That's what I currently have R56 S not mapped though, I thought I'd just go for the JCW but I do like the look of the R still
