I've noticed lately a strange noise coming from the rear of the car when on the motorway. It's like a rumbling noise. Someone said sawtoothing, I've had a look and the tyre wear seems even so I don't think it can be that?
Anyone had anything similar? I'm thinking warped discs or failed bearing?
I'm on 30,000 miles nearly in case that helps.

Re: Rear wheel noise.
What tyres have you got on the rear? I had terrible issues with some Dunlop's, I swapped them onto the front to see if I could feel the vibration through the steering wheel and it was quite apparent where the problem lied. The tyres felt awful so had to get some new ones, after I got the new tyres it was completely fine.

They are the original pirellis on the rear. Still with loads of tread left.

Lift this wheel and try to rotate it with hands. This is easiest way to check ;-) It is possible that You may have to refresh / clean brake systems on this wheel...
