Retrofit DCC or ACC
This started kicking inside my head, Long time am looking into this issue and no help. i suppose because it is standard to have the button in europe so there is not much discussions about it.
I am in UAE, My car is considered the top to order (number 1) which should have everything. it is 2011 model.
I have fed up googiling to check if i have DCC (Dynamic/Adaptive Chasis Control) or not
ofcourse when i asked the dealer this didnt know what am talking about (!!!) -Yeah our dealer has great smart people who should work in NASA- i tried Dubai's dealer as well, also they didnt know what is it.
and if i have it, is it possible to install the button and wiring from Bold-sport
(considering that i have already ordered them , in case i dont have DCC i will keep the button to remember every morning how much i hate the dealer)
I have decoded the car options and it is as follows:
B0M = Component parts set, complying with vehicle type for AGCC countries, variousparts
C9T = Alloy wheels 8J x 18
G1A = 6-speed automatic transmission
HV3 = Tires 235/40 R18 95Y xl
J1D = Battery 380 A (72 Ah)
D2D = 4-cyl. gasoline engine 2.0 l/155 kW 16V turbo FSI, homogeneous; base engine: TM2/TV2/TG6/TJ6/TD6/TP6/TL5/TL6
V0A = Tires w/o specification of tire brand
1AT = Electronic stabilization program (ESP)
1GT = Front shock absorption for high-powered engine
2FU = Leather trimmed multi-function sports steering wheel w/ Tiptronic
5RT = Right exterior mirror: convex (AGCC)
5SH = Left exterior mirror: flat (US)
3U1 = Foldable trunk cover
QG2 = No possibility of activating service interval prolongation
8AY = Radio/navigation system
8GU = Alternator 140 A
1ZA = Disc brakes, front
3FG = Glass sun roof
0GV = Emission standard EU2 (critical vapor pressure)
4UF = Drivers and front passenger air bag with front passenger air bag deactivation
4X3 = Side air bag front with curtain air bag
4R4 = Power windows with comfort operation andcircuit breaker
4K3 = Radio remote controlled central locking operated from inside and safe securing
N1A = Leather seat covering
5MA = Decorative inserts
8RM = 8 speakers (passive)
2JC = Comfort bumpers
E0A = No special edition
1D0 = Without trailer hitch
A8I = Sports equipment
8JW = Twin headlight for driving on the right (gas discharge) w/ integrated high beam
U5F = Instrument insert, km/h speedometer AGCC
1N3 = Speed-related variable steering assist (Servotronic)
3PB = Left seat with electric seat adjustment,right seat manually height-adjustable
4A3 = Seat heater for front seats separately controlled
8N3 = Windshield wiper intermittent control with rain sensor
Is there anyway to check if my car has DCC !!!

I believe you should look for PDD option code

If the car has ACC surely you'd see the button in the centre console? It has a small image of a car and the words Comfort and Sport

Just an idea, stick your head under the rear bumper and look at the shock absorbers - should have an electrical connector if they are ACC shocks

Re: Retrofit DCC or ACC
The UAE Sciroccos don't come with ACC, my R and my friends GT don't. The retrofit would be a massive job as it doesn't just alter the suspension, it adjusts the steering too.
If you're desperate for adjustable dampers, look at KW or Bilstein, both much better than the factory kit.

RS5, Scirocco R. You can never have enough R's

Re: Retrofit DCC or ACC
the only missing part from this http://www.my-gti.com/2653/volkswagen-d ... d-function is the Electronic Damping Control J250
i dont know if i can find it in VCDS http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... lectronics
I will try that tomorrow
i will try to play with the values if found, and see if there is any difference
