taking out a 13 plate 1.4 TSI for a test drive on Monday. its a dealers demo car with 2656 miles on the clock. has reverse parking sensors and sat nav fitted. while looking at the car yesterday it was immaculate apart from a chip in the windscreen. I know it s there, the dealer knows its there but the dealer does not know that i know its there.
Ask for a big discount because of the chip then once you've bought the car, get your insurance company to carry out a repair - it's normally free (but check your policy first). Or, get them to repair it to your satisfaction or replace it first to save you the hassle.
Good luck with buying it anyway - you'll enjoy the car & they look ace in black (I have to say that!).
well, went along to the dealership this lunchtime and the guys gave the car a clean so I could inspect the paintwork, a few tiny scratches which they said they will polish out. they are going to repair the windscreen ready for me to collect on Thursday.
will be an official sirocco owner from then
now to start looking at chrome tailpipes and the like

Well done and hope you enjoy your new car when you pick it up on Thursday.
Before looking at chrome tailpipes, learn how to spell Scirocco
