Going to purshase a scirocco r 2013 ! Advices !

Post by Alnaqbi »

Hi everyone,

I did a test drive before one day with Scirocco R model, and I really like it. I like everything's about it.
But one thing that I want an answer for it. My work far away from my home around 500 km. I'm driving 500 km for 2 times every week. So is Scirocco R good enough for that distance for 4-5 years ? Or should I choose another car from VW ? Please gentelmen any answers or advices ?

Srry for my language I'm from Dubai(UAE)

Hi and welcome aboard mate!
Well I'm thinking that going by your millage that you do a diesel would be better for you regarding fuel. But if cost of fuelling it doesn't matter then get an R.

If you dont care about price of gas, than go for R. I ride remaped TDI 210bhp and its perfect in all ways!

Hi,

I am in the UAE and a proud owner of a Rocco R. I purchased it in Jan 2013 and intentionally I was going to use it to commute to work from Al Ain to Abu Dhabi and back daily ( 320 KM). It is great on the motorway and no issues at all. I recently started to alternate with my old car (luckily I didn't sell it) only to keep the Rocco's mileage reasonably low. It makes my wife really happy as she gets to drive it on those days I leave the car at home!!

My advice is go for it and you will never regret it!!

I do 105km every day to work and back the R, it's perfectly ok and a comfortable car to cover this mileage, I'm also in the UAE so at least we have cheap petrol on our side.
Where will you be driving to?
RS5, Scirocco R. You can never have enough R's

Can I ask how much you need to pay for one litre gas? :)
