Rising Blue 2.0 TSI : Pics - Hood Dampers
Hi guys,
I've been hanging around for a while getting advice and other bits and piece on this forum so thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself and start a thread on the Roc :-) As the topic states, 2.0 Rising Blue TSI (manual):
Will upload more pics soon, and a list of upcoming mods, this is just to get things started!

First job... fitting the pedals, foot rest and GT steering wheel badge, lovely touches I think!
Sorry about the state of the mat... I should have hoovered first!

Re: Rising Blue 2.0 TSI
Without a doubt the best car I've ever owned. Complemented on the colour all the time too... I originally wanted white, but so glad I went for the blue.Newbold3D wrote:Im looking for a rising blue 2.0 TSI. Whats the stats and what did you pay? What you planning for the beast?
You can find the performance stats here:

Check out your local VW dealer to get an idea of prices, or have a look at the for sale forum to see what's about.

Hi mate,
Pedals were from eBay, they were about £90 I think. You can get them direct from VW though

@Newbold3D Yeah I wasn't after a blue one either mate but it blue me away! Love it.
@kaz Short shifter is great, massive enhancement to the driving experience. Just heard good things about it and I will echo them, it's fantastic. A lot of people have the A3 short shift I believe, but for me, this was worth the money.

Re: Rising Blue 2.0 TSI : Pics - Intake and Quickshift
i'm assuming that is the VWR short shift given its got the metal bit (which is oem mk4 golf and was tested on my car many moons ago), A3 shifter is actually a S3 shifter which is identical to VW K04 powered cars so around £30
VWR one was great as is their intake (rebranded ITG) but pricing is now a bit steep imho

Something that should have come as standard, fitted today, no drilling required!

Yeah honestly I think they're pretty pricey too but they're fantastic, really added to the driving experience!wigit wrote:i'm assuming that is the VWR short shift given its got the metal bit (which is oem mk4 golf and was tested on my car many moons ago), A3 shifter is actually a S3 shifter which is identical to VW K04 powered cars so around £30
