no lol, but you where lucky there i use ultimate snow foam good stuff but it would really mess up the car interior
First time using the megs hot shine tyre stuff, never treat the tyres but all good. Also got a new tar remover called concept tar and glue remover, it is what i would imagine a mix of petrol and nuclear waste would smell like, actually almost disolved the spray bottle i put it in but it was good stuff.

It's blue snow foam. I decided to just use ordinary snow foam that day.. Good job aswell!

I'm up the road in lancaster, I can help with the coding if you decide to take the plunge!flashash wrote:I live in the northwest near Liverpool. I have the rcd 510. It does have a bury system fitted but would prefer touch screen controls plus I have a mfs so would be nice to be able to use the buttons for it.

Like you, I have the bury system and I really want to retrofit Bluetooth in before I get the RNS 510. I have access to VCDS, I'd appreciate if you kept me informed of how you got on. Thanksflashash wrote:I live in the northwest near Liverpool. I have the rcd 510. Spent 2 hours cleaning the car, alloys look brand new but I've just spent a further hour "de-streaking" the bodywork!
Who'd have thought that a black car was so hard to keep looking clean?!
Anyone reccomend a good polish? Cheers :-)

I would personally recommend this http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... ipple.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's very popular over on detailing world. Works wonders. I used it on my gfs black car and it turned her car from terrible condition to amazing condition. Also protects paint because it has wax in it..

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Spent 2 and half hours cleaning inside and out. Hoverd inside and wiped up any dust. Then Washed and dryed the exterior and gave it a top up of auto finesse tough coat. Got rid of a build up of tar on the alloys. Then gave the alloys a polish. Dressed the tyres in satin and polished exhaust tips with murcury. Cars looking amazing. Will post some pics up later

those don't look fully on as you can see a spring clip still, gentle nudge with a rubber mallet on a microfibre and they should go on a bit further and butt the exhaustflashash wrote:Just fitted VW Sill Protectors and Yeti Tips

Look fully on to me; the wee bit of metal you can see is like a limiter against the exhaust. Sitting in the same position as mine which have no further to go.

i've just put some of these on my polo and they go past that point, given the top ones do given the exhaust taperRisingRoc wrote:Look fully on to me; the wee bit of metal you can see is like a limiter against the exhaust. Sitting in the same position as mine which have no further to go.
