Broken wing mirror.

Post by WonderBang »

So after a week I go to drive my car and the passenger side wing mirror is hanging off! Upon inspection the painted cap was undamaged and put by a tree next to the car. The indicator lens is also not broken and is fully working. What IS broken is that a bit of the edge of the plastic housing (on the edge of where there is the indicator blip by the glass mirror for driver to see the Indicator) is cracked off so the actual wing mirror isnt fitting together properly. The folding mechanism is also ok and working. Anyone know how much this is going to cost? No paint work required.

Sounds similar to when I hit mine off the garage wall. I think the plastic trim cost me £25-£30 from VW.

Thank you for the response. I hope it's that cheap! I was glad the actual black painted cover was left by the car and not smashed up! Is the assembly difficult if you know by any chance?
